Clarity Prep focuses on targeting basic movement patterns which are not only essential for athletic success and safety, but also aide in everyday lifetime movement. Students learn how to safely perform AND progress movements such as a hip hinge, hip extension, pushing, pulling, squatting, and simple plyometrics. As each student demonstrates mastery with key exercises through technique, then tempo, and finally load, the student moves onto a more difficult exercise. When the student has been able to successfully perform the fundamentals of a movement pattern, it opens up a plethora of exercises he/she will be able to perform.
Other objectives Clarity Prep will address are a student’s relative strength and being able to control one’s body through space. As dynamic as athletics and everyday life can be, it is essential our students learn to properly and safely control their bodies in an eccentric, isometric, and concentric phase.
Finally, we believe in making training fun. We want to instill a passion for physical training. When students learn to do these activities on their own, this will lead to a lifelong pursuit of healthy physical activity, and help deter many of the negative thoughts that people may have when thinking of physical training.
